About the Sonoma County VegFest
The Sonoma County VegFest is the North Bay’s premier celebration of compassionate, healthy, and environmentally responsible living and eating. Join us for dozens of local vendors with delicious vegan food, refreshing drinks, live music, a kids zone, wellness and nutrition information, sustainable and eco products, and so much more. We have inspirational presentations and veggie food prep demos throughout the day. This event is indoor/outdoor and children under 13 are admitted free.
This event is a fundrasier for Compassionate Living, a non-profit that promotes kindness towards animals, healthy living, and respect for the earth. We will have lots of delicious food, inspirational information, and tons of fun! We feel incredibly lucky to live in the North Bay Area, a community with an abundance of nutritional experts, farmer’s markets, and stores with healthy and compassionate choices. We offer the Sonoma County VegFest to come together to showcase all that the North Bay Area has to offer.

The 2026 Sonoma County VegFest will be the last Saturday in September.
Event Location- Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building, 1351 Maple Ave. Santa Rosa, CA. 95404. (across from the Sonoma County Fairgrounds)
Tickets- Tickets will be available online in August, 2026.

Kids under 13 are admitted free of charge- All children under 13 are free.
Free Parking- The Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building has LOTS of free parking! Woo-Hoo!
Animal Policy- The Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building and the SoCo VegFest welcomes your well behaved animal companions on a leash. Bring the whole family, feathered and furred!
Compassionate Living- The SoCo VegFest is produced by Compassionate Living, a non-profit dedicated to ending the suffering of farmed animal and creating a healthy, thriving, climate stable world. SoCo VegFest Eco-Policy- The Sonoma County VegFest is an Earth-Friendly Event. We always keep consideration for the planet forefront in our minds and strive to reduce our impact in organizing and executing our event. We require all vendors to use only compostable materials. We strive to be a zero waste event and you can help by bringing your own travel mug, bowls, flatware, cloth napkin, etc. Come prepared and reduce the waste generated at the event. Thank you for being part of the solution and for caring about the Earth and her animals.
SoCo VegFest Safe Space Policy- The Sonoma County VegFest wants all our attendees to have a wonderful time free of any harassment, intimidation, or uncomfortable interactions. As such, we strive to promote principles of fairness and equity in relation to race, age, color, disability, faith, religion, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, sex, sexual orientation, social class, economic class, ethnicity, gender identity, gender expression, and all other identities.
We must all work together to create a space at the Sonoma County VegFest that is safe and comfortable for all individuals so we have developed the following guidelines to address inappropriate behavior at the Sonoma County VegFest:
- Inappropriate behavior that is prohibited may include, but is not limited to: behavior that is racist, sizeist, sexist, transphobic, queerphobic, ableist, xenophobic, ageist, and homophobic. Inappropriate behavior includes sarcasm as well as unwillingness to listen to and learn from others’ experiences.
- If you feel that you have been subjected to inappropriate behavior or discrimination, you should report the incident to Sonoma County VegFest Manger Hope Bohanec. Someone else may also report on your behalf. There will be no retaliation against the person who reports the behavior.
- If someone questions your behavior, the event manager will speak with you. You may be given a verbal warning and you may be asked to leave the event. If inappropriate behavior continues and/or is reported again, you may be prohibited from attending future Sonoma County VegFests.
This policy is a work in progress and we invite feedback on how to create safer spaces for all individuals.
